Voluntary Ph.D. Pitch Session
School participants are invited to take part, on a voluntary basis, in a Pitch Session during which they will present their Ph.D. project using two slides.
The two slides should briefly outline:
- the objectives of the Ph.D. thesis,
- the importance and potential impact of these objectives,
- the methodology proposed to achieve them, and
- the potential risks that may hinder the full achievement of the planned goals.
Participation in the Pitch Session is entirely optional.
Those who wish to take part are required to submit, by May 18th, a PDF file containing their two slides and to present them in two minutes during the Pitch Session in Bertinoro.
The Scientific Committee of the School will award a certificate of participation to all presenters, with a special mention for the best presentations.
The aim of the Pitch Session is to encourage the active involvement of students by giving them the opportunity to summarize and present their research activity in two slides, while also allowing them to learn about the research topics pursued by their peers.
